HOW TO GET TO KALYMNOS ISLAND:
Kalymnos has a ferry service from Piraeus port of Athens. The Journey
time by boat from Athens to Kalymnos is approximately 10 hours.
There are also local Inter Dodecanese island boats connecting Kalymnos
with the rest of the Dodecanese islands.
Alternatively you can get to Kalymnos island by flying from Athens
to Kos, the flying time is only around 35 minutes, and then a short
boat ride 45 minutes from KOs island Mastihari port to Kalymnos
Island. From June 2005, the newly build airport of Kalymnos island
is due to operate and direct flights from Athens to Kalymnos will
make it easier to visit this beautiful unspoiled island.
