The hotel Pegasus is located in the town of Thassos, Limenas
which has about 2500 inhabitants. Pegasus hotel is only a
few minutes away from the center of the town where you can
find tavernas, bars, shops, the archeological Museum and the
ancient agora. The ancient theater is a 30 minute walk from
the hotel and there you may attend the performances of ancient
plays during the summer season. |

In the tavernas by the old harbor one can taste delicious seafood
and other local specialties. Thassos is famous for it's honey
and it's olive oil. It is also very important to mention the
existence of the white marble that covers mainly the northeastern
part of the mountainous landscape. The main port is about 400
meters and the nearest beach is about 700 meters away from the
Pegasus hotel.
HOW TO GET TO PEGASUS HOTEL IN THASSOS TOWN,THASSOS ISLAND:
From Athens to the airport Alexander the Great Kavala airport
and then to Keramoti port 12 km by taxi. The cost is approximately
10 Euro. Hotel Pegasus, can on request, arrange a taxi to meet
our guests at the airport for transfer to the port of Keramoti,
and then from Keramoti to Thassos port 35 minutes away. Once
you arrive in Thassos, Hotel Pegasus is located just 10 minutes
walk away. If you prefer on arrival at Thassos call Pegasus
hotel in order to be picked up. The ferry cost is approximately
12 Euro for a car, and approximately 1.5 Euro per person. This
is the best and cheapest way to reach the island. However you
may take the flying dolphin from Kavala town directly to Thassos
town the cost is approximately 8.5 Euro per person

of wine. All the rooms have balconies some with garden and mountain
view and a few with sea view. There is daily maid service. Room
